Why does Yahoo delete normal words like '****' (as in **** Sapiens) that means 'man'?

It seems that Yahoo doesn't delete the word **** seeing as yours is still there, or it doesn't delete it coz you wrote it with a capital H?

It isn't us who delete the word, but Yahoo automatically puts stars instead of certain words. We don't have that power you know. If you wrote **** sapiens, than it's not offensive, if you wrote **** alone, than some might find it offensive as it's like an insulting term towards gay ppl.

It's because if used otherwise, the word h o m o can offensive. Yahoo probably does it through computers so rather than looking at the context it is used, it just is made to automatically delete it as it would any swear word. So it has nothing to do with the audience, it has to do with Yahoo using computers rather than actual people to sensor.

They do that because they think you are referring to a **** sexual person. You'd have to write the full out word 'home sapien'
