Do Christians know that Angel Gabriel himself gave knowledge to Muhammad of Jesus?

I am white, British and a Christian so I hope that clears up a bit of confusion.

I am Christian.

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Matthew 22:36-40).

Gabriel, as God's envoy, has appeared to various people and cultures throughout history;

The Shepherds

Muhammad at Mount Hira

Te Ua Haumene, New Zealand

He will keep appearing as God's messanger even unto the end of time.

    Gabriel is an angel sent to Daniel (Dan. 8: 16; 9: 21), Zacharias (Luke 1: 11-19; D&C 27: 7), Mary (Luke 1: 26-38), and others (D&C 128: 21). The Prophet Joseph Smith indicated that Gabriel is the Old Testament prophet Noah.

    And where do you get these lies from? Remember, satan can appear as an angel of light! The Scripture says that "If we, or even an angel from heaven preach any other gospel than we have already preached, let him be accursed!" Since islam is contrary to the teachings of the Biblical gospel, then the "knowledge" Mohammed received was accursed, and it was NOT Gabriel, but a demon. "As I said before, so say I again, if any one preaches any other gospel, let him be accursed!"

    I think that people can know a could know An Angel name Gabriel because if a person who need help Gabriel could have been know the one who help them.

    This is rather like saying that Batman put kryptonite in Superman's cape.

    Basically your holy text asserts that this happened with no supporting evidence. Similarly the Christian's holy text states other things with no supporting evidence. Given this, you are arguing about mythology based on mythology.

    Only Gabriel gave knowledge to Muhammad..

    so says those who want people to believe it. The angels (ie: Gabriel etc.) have only recently been recognized and are being used to VALIDATE the war like reasoning behind Alkaid.

    Gosh, that is not Gabriel´s job, he must have been working at night in those days..l

    I didn´t see that in the Bible..

    Maybe God doesn´t know about it yet, we will have to tell him..

    Also does muhammad tell anywhere in his teachings that allah can heal a person?
