How do I get my avatar onto my yahoo answers profile?

Post a JPG picture (< 5 MB) on left side where it says:

‘Edit Personal Photos’

Select that as your PRIMARY, then click SAVE and OK.

FINALLY, activate your avatar on this YA site:

Click your grey profile or your name here on YA.

Click on ‘Edit My Info’ next to your avatar.

Click which avatar you want to use.

Click PREVIEW (bottom), then OK.

You have to have a 360 account. No choice on that if you want to use a personalized photo. I had to create a 360 account just to use this photo.

Click on the words "My Profile" at the upper right hand side of the page; then, when it takes you there, click "Edit My Info."

There will be an option for "create your 360 account" or to use your avatar. Once you have a 360 account, you can load photos

If you want just a cartoon, choose the option for an avatar when you’re on the “Edit My Info” age and, when you click the link, it takes you to http:avatars.yahoo.com.

Trische..."bleeding" has it right. You shouldn't have any trouble with it. I just changed mine back. I got my 360 fixed and my avatar. If I can do it..I KNOW you can. I'm a real computer dummy. While you're in "Edit my Info"..click on the one that opens your 360. Also..open "Fans". You should be set after that. Hope to see you soon...your face and your 360 and your Friends (Fans).

Edit..If you're putting in a real photo of you..be sure to put a dot in the circle of the picture you want to use in your avatar. And I think there's a place there to..to click ..to use it on YA avatar.Don't forget to submit it at the bottom..or click OK.

Even my eight 12 months ancient followed Mexican little one Pedro was once ready to place an Avatar onto his Answers profile comfortably. If you are not able to do that, I'm amazed you may have even controlled to entry this website!
