Are you automatically a racist if you vote for your own race?
This is basically what I am hearing on here. If your black and vote for Obama your racist, if your white and vote for anybody but Obama your racist.... Is this the truth?

Heck no techno! "party voting" is just like how this democratic election is going it seems.. the "party" of african americans is backing Obama, and the "party" of middle class whites is backing hilary. Not based on their ideas, but on who they reach out to more.

they do, whenever the media refers to states Obama must win they mention how many blacks are in that area. FYI just because someone who is black votes for Obama doesn't make them racist it makes some of them a Democrat. Almost the same amount voted for Bill Clinton so was that acceptable because Clinton was white? Stop focusing on skin color and focus on the issues! What this presidential race has revealed is the racism that sadly still exist. How come no one is questioning all the women who are now blindly supporting McCain just because of Palin are those women racist?

Most blacks that voted for Obama are racists, because it's obvious he doesn't know how to run a country or what he's talking about.

black people might feel that way because in the past if they stood up for anything they were shot back down..
that same mentality they had back then still echos
but if vote simply based on race then you might be a little racist

I dont think so...it really depends on why you cast your vote. Im sure there are some fools in Kentucky who didn't vote for Obama because hes black. THAT is racism
But if your white and choose to vote hillary because you think she has a great laugh that doesnt make you racist

You are right. This is exactly what people on here say, but it gets worse. If you are a woman (like me) and you don't vote for Hillary or Obama you are a sexist racist. I can't win for losing!

No, but it seems pretty fishy 92% of blacks vote for Obama. You have to admit this is a large number

no i dont think you're racist. i'm black and although i legally cant vote, i wouldnt wanna vote for obama if i didnt believe in him. i dont like hilary because i've heard her caught in a lie, and i think she's knows too much. she's been in politics for so long she knows how to play the cards to get what she wants, even if it means playin' americans. call me sexist if you want, but i dont think a woman should be president. i think it may be harder for other countries to respect her than if she was a man. i think that God gave women natural talents and leading a country ( i dont think ) is one of the better talents. i'm not saying women should never be given leadership positions, i just think being president is too much for a women because of our emotional nature and how women are made. i dont think women are inferior because of it though. i think God gave men talents and women talents.
i dont like repuplicans in general since i think it's their fault we're in this mess, so i dont really want mccain.
but the point being, if i didnt think obama would be better for the country, than i wouldnt want him to win. i wish edwards was still in it though, cause he'd have been my second choice to obama. but i personally would like to be able to say that "when a was a teenager we had our first black president." there's alot more i wanna say, but i dont wanna make this longer for you to read. thanks.

No, it's not true. As long as your vote is based on fact, not color, you are not racist no matter who you vote for.

Of course it's not true. It's usually just Obama supporters playing the race card yet again.
