We've seen the movies introduce the idea of a black President ( Bruce Almighty; Deep Impact). Have the movies yet shown us a female as US President ? I just can't recall one.

There was one TV movie I saw that had a woman president, but the movie was terrible and I don't remember what it was called.  Air Force One had Gleen Close as the vice president.  The new season of 24 will have a woman president.  That's the best I can think of.

Oh yeah, there was the Geena Davis show a few years ago.  I never watched it myself.

On Air Force One the vice president is a woman and she almost signs over as president, but decides not to. There used to be a TV show about a woman president with Gena Davis.

i don't know about movies but there was a short lived tv show starring geena davis as president. i forgot the name of it though.
