Are You Pleased With The Outcome of These Primaries?

Looks like Obama's got the Democratic spot.

What do you think of that?

I don't really care. I hate Obama and will never vote for the racist/socialist/liar!

It's a sad day for America when a candidate isn't qualified and doesn't care about this country gets the nomination. I honestly don't think he would be where he is today if he had not been "black."

I think that this is history repeating itself. And no, I am not pleased.

Because Democrats are very idealistic. They play to do the right thing and not to win.

Look at the nomination/primary process. It is not aligned with the general election process. Prorated delegates creates a longer, more expensive nomination process and delivers candidates that cannot win in the winner take all general election.

The party tends to nominate candidates that are too liberal to win in the GE. McGovern, Dukakas, Mondale, Kerry. The only elections won over the last 40 years have been gifts - Nixon gave us a Carter White House, and Ross Perot the first Clinton win. Since the 70's the only real win the Dems have had is Clinton's reelection.

I think McCain will win the presidency with Obama as the Democratic nominee. Barack was and is a spoiler who has been treated with kid gloves by the media and seduced our youth with texting. Just wait till Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton hit the trail for Obama. He can't hide them forever. Republicans will tear him apart and the media will dine at the feast. He has been built up by the media and they are waiting to tear him down. The only chance Democrats have is Hillary as VP, so she can step up and take the nomination in August after the polls show Democrats that the Obama media honeymoon is over. Barack Obama is a democratic Bush…likable but too extreme politically. As the economy continues to tank, and Obama talks of raising taxes and spending on social programs, moderates and conservatives will walk away.

Think about this, 90+% of blacks are voting for BO and the Oprah endorsed him, ask Kanye West if her endorsement of the plastic doc was any good or the plagerist whose book she heralded or the teacher at the school she funded in s africa that molested students and still further the "gospel" of the church he attends (yeah now he quits). Total opportunist who has never said what he will do other than hope for change. Puke--later gnome

I am very excited that our country is moving towards getting the cons. out of the way. I am pleased with the outcome because I voted for Hillary because I just didn't know Obama that much but I have got to see how he is & I am thrilled he is running. I am happy with both. I can't wait to bring the troops home. It doesn't matter to me who wins the election but my heart is with families who have someone right now in the military & even the other people who have suffered because of the cons.

Yes, it is clear CNN and their candidate will do whatever it takes. They have been relentless and created some intriguing coalitions. Now we know what we must do!

Stay close to our friends and even closer to our enemies. Study them carefully and take time to plan an appropriate response when the time is right.

I was an original Edwards supporter but would have been satisfied with either Obama or Clinton and hope that they are a team soon.

I'm glad it's over, I don't know if I like hearing that Hillary's going to push for VP. We need to get the "same ole" political attitude out of the White House

I think it sux. I think it will GURANTEE that this country will be run by the Republican ticket for another 4 years. And I'm a REPUBLICAN WHO VOTED FOR HILLARY!!! But I will vote for McCain in Nov., just as most of the other Hillary supporters will do. So go ahead and have your hollow victory party now. It's the ONLY one you'll have.
