Is the United States the greatest society there ever will be?

Only 2% of Norways population are Muslim, Canada has a greater percentage of Muslims than Norway,

In fact the latest figures for US Muslims put the figure between 8 and 10 million.

Indeed New York City now has a Muslim population greater of that of London and other parts of the US such as parts of New Jersey and Detroit have very large Muslim populations.

New York City is home to 800,000 Muslims, whilst London is home to 600,000 Muslims or over 40% of the total UK Muslim population.

the First World countries are the greatest society so far. America, Canada, western + northern Europe and Australia and New Zealand

America has what western European nations lack and vice-versa. for example: in America you make more money as an individual per job and you pay less taxes and life is way cheaper.

in Europe you have more normal people and had more homogenous societies (remember in America we took everybody in, including the cast-off crazies and undesirables from everywhere else) but taxes are high, salaries are low.

So maybe America is slightly better than other first world nations when all things are considered.

The challenge is to "keep being" the greatest. Its a challenge other advanced societies in their time have not been able to overcome. America some say is declining but in truth the whole world is, and so is civilization because simply we are overpopulated and resources are dwindling.

No. Look at the Roman Empire (conquered a large proportion of Europe and the Mediterranean), the British Empire (one of the most successful empires), the Egyptians (developed so much) etc etc etc. The US is far from the greatest society. It's not even the greatest society in this century let alone ever!

You make an excellent point that this is one of the only nations that has ever allowed it's citizen to openly denigrate it. That said, you should get out more. There are better societies in existence RIGHT NOW. Norway for example...

It's a great idea and it has definitely become a great power--economically and militarily

But others will copy it and refine it's ideas until they surpass it.

It's the way of things--

if you want to be successful--copy someone who is.

But once you reach your goal--you need to grow beyond what they can teach you--

So countries will take what they think is the best parts of the USA and then try to add to it.

I believe it is the greatest thus far. So long as technology continues to advance and if we become a true space faring people, then society will continue to advance and we will be seen as primitive in many ways.

We are the greatest Country in History and hopefully in years to come. Everyone knows it, those who disagree are just jealous. Nothing against your Countries, but they are ALL second to the USA! Most of you wouldn't be where you are now without our help in the past. Admit it and move on!
