sounds like a sciatica nerve injury...is it a shooting pain? If it is, Aleve should help.

Sounds like it could be a disc issue coming from your back. My disc prolapse can make me feel like that alot. Seriously painful.
Ice the lumbar spine, rest it and take anti-inflammatories. If that does not help after another week, get to your doctor for imaging like and MRI scan.

Ask your doctor for a referral to a specialist and make an appointment. You may have an allignment problem but even if you don't you need a specialist.
