Why are there no more tomatoes on the shelves?

Did someone throw them away? Couldn't they be cooked and saved?

just getting interesting... everyone has different type of contaimination.

    Everyone is scared of the salmonella outbreaks. The cherry and grape tomatoes sold on the vine are still okay. No one place wants to be responsible for selling bad tomatoes. Someone might sue them for getting sick.

    They threw them out to protect the customers.

    Salmonella outbreak. Cherry tomatoes are okay supposedly.

    Because of e. coli, I believe. They're no longer @ McDonald's nor WalMart.

    idk but i work at taco bell and they stopped serving the tomatoes because they said that they were possibly contaminated with lysteria

    they were "canned"?.....lol..
