What would happen if we pulled ALL our troops from Iraq?

Would we be less safe? Would we be more safe? Would al-Qaeda say, "We taught those infidels a lesson"?

If the "terrorists" win will we be speaking Arabic???

Update:

Hey White Rose...did you ever hear the saying you catch more bees with honey??? Good grief fella...I agree with you!! I wanted to know what would be so bad about bringing them home.

Hi,I live in Australia and I think they should all go home, everybody, there is to many people dieing in this fruitless war game of George Bush, how about all the families of the dead soldiers. We need revenge for 911 but this is not it.

the world will probably never know

    Would we be less safe?

probably. Id rather have professional soldiers stopping them there then firemen trying to clean up messes here.

Would al-Qaeda say, "We taught those infidels a lesson"?

They wouldnt be as polite as you

If the "terrorists" win will we be speaking Arabic???

Nope but if you dont pray right, youll get a bullet. Women will be forced to wear fashionable burkas and will be stoned to death for being raped and any and all futher developments in any field will be sacrificed at the altar of Islam...

...kinda like the past 1000 or so years in the middle-east.

My guess is that the results would be similar to what happened when we pulled troops from:

-the American south (Nearly 100 years of Jim Crow laws)

-Eastern Europe after WWI (the spread of Communism only killed 100 million people)

-Cambodia (Khmer Rouge started an 'ethnic cleansing' of those who supported them throughout the war)

My guess is that the results will be similar to what happened in Cambodia.

While that in itself may not have a big impact on the United States, keep in mind, the enemy is not at the gates. The enemy has already infiltrated the United States (probably still taking flying lessons). Those terrorists who live in the United States will continue to get funds for their activities from back home.

Nothing much really. Iraq is going back to its normal civil war state, maybe a little more intense. Iraq's border are going to be in turmoil for a while.

Al-Qaeda is just a boogie monster. There's no such thing as an international terrorist organization called Al-Qaeda. It's just a couple guys that can't go around the world because they're well known. Small terrorist organizations claim to be Al-Qaeda just because it makes them look bigger and meaner. Iraq insurgents are iraquies who don't want the US army there. Take it out and the insurgents are no longer a problem.

We would not be in war and troops would be home with their families. We will be safe as we ever will be. That is what al-Qaeda wants us to do, to stay fighting the war and bankrupt America into this war. After all said and done, it doesn't matter what any other country thinks about Americans but what AMERICANS should start focusing is the ECONOMY.

AMERICANS ARE PROUD PEOPLE AND AMERICA WILL STAY STRONG. (What is wrong speaking Arabic?)

    GOD BLESS! AMEN! SHALOM!

It is impossible to remove such a large force in under two

    years,

If combat units are removed first then supply units will

be under attack, the opposite move will leave no supplies

    for combat units,

It will be 1968 again the year over 16,000 soldiers were lost,

in a Bill Moyers supported war

There is hardly any Al Queda in Iraq, and none before we invaded.

Get it out of your head that we are fighting Al Queda in Iraq.

We are fighting the Iraqi people.

Al Queda is only about 7-12%, according to our OWN estimates.

Educate yourself. Stop believing this lying BS about Iraq.

    Read your own military's reports.

Cambodia, and America would be less safe.

Peace would happen, al qaeda is already defeated in Iraq, but it was not defeated by the US army, but by the Iraqi people themselves! It's not al qaeda that wants the US out of Iraq, al qaeda are not even Iraqi they're all foreigners, it's the Iraqi people themselves who want the US out of their country.
