What "school" options does a parent have for young children (starting after1) in England?

I am planning to go back to work once my baby is 1, but I´m not sure what are the options for child care. Is there anyhing for children before 3, before nursery?

Also, if you have a Sure-Start nursery locally they provide reduced childcare for working or studying parents. You should check them out they are really exceptional for following Birth to Three and Every Child Matters. You may also qualify for Working tax credit with a Childcare element which could pay up to 80% of your fees. Look it up on Google.

Hope it helped and good luck.

A nanny, a childminder or a private nursery are your options.
