Sciatic Nerve Injury?

I injured my back a couple of weeks ago moving a piece of furniture. Have been seeing a D.O. who has been great, however I still have numbing from the knee down. Any suggestions? Doc says my initial problem stems from a break in my tailbone from 20 years ago.

    Go to a real doctor, one with an MD, a neurologist as it is nerve damage... DO are fine for some things, don't get me wrong, but in this case you need a specialist.
