Do you reject Satan because of fear - OR - Do you reject the concept of Satan because you reject fear?
I've often seen responses on this forum - stating how Satan appears in many forms - fear him - etc. etc. Don't meditate - satan will send you to hell
How do you deal with FEAR? All faiths??? Is it just me or does Christianity dwell on the concept of fear. I know as a child brought up in a christian home - we were taught to fear God's wrath and Satan's temptations and Hell's sulphorous fire . . .
Seems to me dictators use the same approach.
Do you see a similarity also???
Thanks in advance for your answers

Fear is a survival instinct, something to be manipulated, used, and worked through, not rejected, we learn from fear. I reject Satan because I do not believe in him and he has no effect on me or my gods.
We have fear door a reason, we cannot and should not reject or nature out of hand, merely learn to control us with our higher senses and brain.

I neither fear, accept, nor reject the Satan of Christianity.
“Don't meditate - Satan will send you to hell” - I wonder does this originate from when Satan tempted Jesus during his 40 day fast/meditation. Or does it arise from the strange spiritual experiences people have during meditation that cannot be explained by the Bible? If you fear demons and Satan and going to hell, you won’t even try to meditate. And if you fear meditation and don’t have these experiences to begin with, you won’t question the Bible in that way. Fear is indeed a powerful method of control used by dictators.
Anyways, to answer your question, the emotion of fear is a great tool. It’s a warning sign to take precaution, it shows what you are passionate about, and it motivates you to take action. We must confront our fears, because through fear, we learn much about ourselves and how we progress through this material world.
For example, I fear that my wine glass has just been emptied. After confronting such fear, I was motivated to reach over to pour myself another glass. Quite tasty I might add. Cheers.

I have a deep reverant fear of God and I do not fear satan nor do I fear man. I chose Jesus Christ after several years of searching and research. Other religions offered me nothing. atheism offered me nothing, and evolution offered me nothing. I didn't accept Jesus out of fear but out of awe and love. I don't use fear tactics when I witness to the lost. I simply present the gospel to them. If they believe the message, I praise God for it, and if they don't believe it, then that's their choice. If someone asks me about hell, I will answer but to beat a person over the head with it makes for a poor witness for the most part although on specific occasions there are some who may need a good scare to get their attention.
Pretty much everyone in this forum know's about hell and the gospel but I will continue to preach the gospel anyhow.

I reject the blatant use of fear by some organized religions. I feel Satan was invented for the sole purpose of keeping people fearful so they wouldn't act up, and for many, the fear of Satan is the only thing keeping them in their religion. What kind of faith is that????

First up, i'm a Christian, yet (respectfully) your query does not particularly make any experience. Muslims believe interior the comparable God as Christians (in simple terms referred to as a diverse call) and believe that there is a devil (referred to as Iblis) who reasons human beings to sin, very like the Christian devil. So Muslims won't have the capacity to be satanists. additionally, many individuals of my relatives are atheists, and that they have got not got shrines to lucifer mendacity around the domicile. With all due admire, do slightly extra learn formerly making such claims.

Fear is just a way to control and manipulate people. Fear is propagated by ignorance. Face your fears and you will develop a better understanding of the world.
