How should I cook marinated chicken breasts without a grill?
I already have the rest of the meal planned, just not how I should cook them. Oven? or stove? and for how long?
its an electric range... mentioning temperature would be helpful, thanks!

Oven or even microwave is great for chicken breasts. Is the marinade used as a sauce as well? Preheat oven to 425. Put chicken in clean pan without marinade but sprayed lightly with Pam or light marg. Check in 15 minutes - if its nicely brown, turn over. Check in another 15. If you are using the marinade as a sauce, reduce the heat to about 350 and add the marinade. Check again after another 15 minutes - watch that your marinade doesn't burn - especially if soya sauce based. If you like slightly sweet, you can put a little marmalade or pepper jelly on the chicken for added taste. If you like more of a roast chicken flavour, sprinkle with chicken or turkey gravy mix powder. Add a little water to the pan if necessary.

As you are talking about chicken breast you can marinate that for years and the marinade never penetrates the meat so it is only surface anyway. So you get grill super hot and sear the outside of the breast to caramelize the marinade on both sides and then do your water thing to keep it from drying out. It would be best to baste with more of the marinade at the end and put back directly on the hot grill again for just a short time. The only way to get marinade taste in chicken breast is to pound it paper thin and then marinate. then when you grill it - the marinade and the breast are done at the same time.

Stove top for sure. Use a little Olive oil and cook the chicken until they are lightly browned on both sides. Best of luck!

Bake them on a cookie sheet, uncovered @325 for 1 hour turning once at the halfway point. When do we eat?
