so far this year he deserves to be an all star but he is only underrated because what has he done in the past? I think he is playing way over his head and will cool down the second half of the year

I aint going to pretend I'm too familiar with Haystacks Calhoun, I have looked up a few of his matches after hearing about him, on youtube, but you can never get the full aspect of one's career by watching odd matches because research lacks emotion His style reminds me most of Uncle Elma, slow and basic but a hell a size to look at. For the time he will have been an impressive sight but to mention vader who is very athletic for his size doesn't do Haystacks Calhoun any favours to be honest, tho he's definately more impressive than Abdullah the Butcher. Someone who I have to mention is Bam Bam Bigelow. This guy in the 80s was rolling around flipping cartwheels and high flying like a crusierweight and as a heel was a real bad @ss and scientific wrestler who knew how to work his opponent's body parts to set up for his flying headbutt.

I don't think he was underrated because you heard about him as he came up through the Diamondbacks and how good he was going to be. The only problem that Quentin had with the Diamondbacks is that they already had really young outfielders coming up and Carlos Quentin became avaliable because of the emergence of Chris Young and Justin Upton. Furthermore the Diamondbacks are going to be kicking themselves for trading away another outfielder and that is Carlos Gonzalez of the A's.

He deserves an all star nod, but, I don't know if he is underrated. The Diamondbacks would disagree, and I am for now. He did practically nothing for his first two years in the league with Arizona, so I think he is over achieving right now. That should not discredit his numbers this year and his all star worthiness.

The guy has monster numbers and he, along with Dye, are raking the ball. But, since the All-Star game is more about popularity than numbers in some cases I doubt he would get elected even if he was on the ballot this year. . .which I don't think he is. Definitely deserving and has the numbers to back that up.

Is he underrated.
Yes.
Its good for him and the White Sox when big television stations broadcast games and talk about him.
He is only known very well by White Sox fans and has contributed to the White Sox success over he course of the season.
He is all-star for sure.
Its a shame people will vote Ichiro into the starting all-star lineup when Quentin deserves it way more.

Oh definitaly.
same with JD.
get this: Carlos is only getting paid somewhere around $400,000 this season! I can see Kenny Williams paying him WAY more after the end of the season.

He should be a all-star starter and if he keeps up his pace will contend for MVP
Ichiro is not who he should be replacing, it's Manny...it's ok though, the coaches usually get it right when the fans don't- he will be there there
