Does it count that I got a huge cardboard box for my granddaughter and painted and decorated it like a house. I even printed pictures to hang on the walls. It had curtains. And a door and window that opened and shut. I spent a lot of time on that box!

I'm working on it...the youngest ones know that I have placed an acorn under the Wendy House...it's just a matter of time. Teaches them patience.

One year my granddaughter and her friend wanted a 'house' to play in with their dolls. we had a dozen or so oak trees in our back yard, so I took a roll of twine and went from tree to tree, wrapping the twine around each one to make 'rooms'. The 'rooms' even had doorways to get from room to room. The girls loved it!

Well I'm only 21 and nowhere even close to being a grandparent, but my grandma bought me a play house when I was younger.

I might have tried, but I'm sure my thumb got in the way of the hammer.
