bloody hell triplets!well i did my daughter cos when she was waking up in the morning at 18 mths her nappy was dry so i'd sit her on potty in morning in bathroom and start reading to her then she'd go!it was so easy cos we timed it right i started that on the monday and she was completely potty trained on the friday...if they are ready then you shouldnt have any problems and my daughter is 9 now and has had 3 accidents at night and each time was when she was ill, never ever wet herself when out either..so timing is the key.good luck with three of em lol

We started talking about potty training (having a small potty in the house; talking with them about being big boys and using the potty) when our boys (twins) were about 16 months old. Honestly, that point they had no interest...simply couldn't have cared less about it.
They turned four in May and were full potty trained (including at night!) about two months before that. You can certainly try to potty train your kids now.....some train well early on, some don't. Just don't be discouraged if they don't train for you. 14 and 15 months is actually pretty early.

Take your lead from your children. If they are showing signs of control and knowledge that they want the toilet then it's a good sign that they are ready. Don't rush them though. It's something that has to happen when they are ready or you are asking for trouble. 15 months is still quite young, some aren't ready until after two ( as with all things they develop at their own rate) , but if you think they are ready then go for it. Lots of over the top praise when they are successful, acknowledge mistakes but don't make them a big deal. Be really patient and prepare for lots of accidents. Summer is a good time to let them go without nappies as they don't get cold when they are out. Be determined once you start and try to see it through as it can be confusing going back to nappies ( this is why you have to be sure that they are ready). Good luck with them I'm sure you've got your hands full with triplets but what a blessing! P.S.Remember that you don't have to do them all if one's not ready, and you may find it easier dealing with them individually, your the expert on your babies though so just trust your instincts, I'm sure they'll be right!

I guess it really depends on the individual- (though with twins, obviously not on the individual, on the pair of them and likewise with triplets!)
I was potty trained at 13 months- my mum told me this, I dont remember this. I apparently was early for my age.
Its well known that girls mature faster then boys so its also important to consider the sex, whats going on in thier lives (e.g new start at school/creche, as having too much at the same time could freak them out) and just how they are as kids, if they seem to be at the stage where you think could handle it.
My guess is that as you are asking, its a good time to start.

Are they ready? There's really no point starting until they are, all it will do is set them back further.
If they are able to communicate with you effectively, have 'regular' times for bowel movements, understand instructions you give them, and can tell you when they're going, then they're probably ready. Otherwise I'd leave it, 15 months is pretty young, and just because someone else's child did it then doesn't mean yours will.

Your children need to at least be able to pull their trousers up and down themselves.
I think that the general idea these days is that 18 months is the absolute earliest. Most people don't do it until their children are 2.5 years and even then, I've seen people really struggle with it!

You can start potty training when ever you think you and the child are ready. Once they can stand and comunicate then go for it. We started training my sister at just about a year and my son tho he was more stubbor we started him at about 16 weeks...took him longer to get it tho.
