Red currants: making jelly without sugar; any other recipes?

I just got my annual gift of red-currants from my British in-laws.

Last year I tried making jelly with Splenda; it didn't set.

What's the secret? Do you have any other recipes.

    you can get fruit pectin from the store. currants make a nice gift don't they.
