Sen. McCain voted over 95% of the time to support Pres. Bush's policies. Does he deserve the title "McSame"?

I personally believe that he does.

Update:

Flor a fact, among many other flip flops, McCain has flip flopped on tax cuts. Though he rightly once opposed them as unfair to working people, since he obtained his party's nomination, he now supports making the unfair tax cuts permanent.

The sh*t boat vets who lied to unfairly vilify Sen. Kerry are silent upon all of McSame's flip flops. Very curious.

p.s. If you working people vote against your best interests and vote for McSame, then you will cause me absolutely no harm. You will only harm yourselves and your children. Trust me, I'll be sitting back after having voted a straight Dem ticket, sipping wine and watching the show. You working people only have yourselves to hurt if you vote Republican. I hope you don't, but if you do, then you deserve whatever you get.

No, he deserves the title McShame. I will be ashamed to live in this country if Mcain gets elected, just as I am ashamed to be an American with Mr. Bush as our president.

I think the reason is that a lot of liberals kind of like John McCain. Here was a Republican saying things no other Republican would say and fighting, Teddy Roosevelt-style, to wrest his party from the hands of the plutocrats who controlled it. And, in the years immediately following that run, McCain established himself as perhaps the country's foremost progressive champion. He was an opponent, on moral and fiscal grounds, of tax cuts that overwhelmingly benefited the rich. He was also a fierce opponent of the extreme elements of the religious right. He was a proponent of global-warming legislation, the Law of the Sea Treaty, a moderate immigration bill, expanded public financing of elections, a tobacco tax, and many other liberal reforms.

McCain is not another Bush. Not even close!

NO. Not all of our Presidents policies where BAD. In fact I agreed with most of them, probably about 98% of the time. McCain is not another Bush. He is almost librial. Kerry was going to ask him to be his running mate in the last Pres. election. I am tired of people saying he is just another Bush, because if he was a little more like Bush I might vote for him. I also don't think that nobody derserves name calling!

Ain't it amazing that he didn't vote like Pelosi, Reid, Obama and Clinton? I am soooo shocked. But, you know what, your statistic fails to mention that most votes were on funding the government and both sides of the aisle voted that way, too. So you might add they all voted for Bush proposals most of the time. You show a very misleading "statistic" and even that is probably incorrect. Lying with statistics has been around a long time. The devil is in the details like that Parrot guy said. Geez!

How many years did he get that rating? Oh you don't want people to know that you only took 2007's figure? The most ironic thing is that McCain has opposed Bush in the 7 years more than most Democrats have.

Obama attended a black seperatist church with his wife and kids and then lied about it. He attended a church that spews hatred of America yet he wants to be Prez. Obama changes his views on improtant issues and then denies it rather than explaining a reason. Obama associates with William Ayers a terrorist against America who has blown up gov buildings and killed Americans. Obama is freinds with and supported Todd Stroger who has raised Cook County taxes 3 times in his short time in office. Obama is friends and had a shady corrupt land deal with Tony Rezko and is from Chicago my home town and the most corrupt governmental town in the country. What title shoudl we give him?

Obama constantly votes as a socialist, way left, does he deserve the title of Marxist? If you apply this title you have to apply Obama's title.

    To the Original Poster:

No wonder you like Obama. Just look at your condescending tone when referring to us "working people". You and Obama can kiss my foot, you both make me sick.

Absolutely! I am very an open-minded person and I can see too many similarities to not see him as a continuous blunderer with Bush's policies firmly in his loving embrace. If he would have known 4 years ago that he had prostituting himself with Bush's policies, he would have never run again.

Will I could think of a different title - but I'm sure that would offend many of his supporters!

But YES he does deserve the title "McSame" - now get ready for the Obama bashings.....
