religion myths and propaganda?
are there still people out there that don't realize that the bible is a compolation of myths going back almost to the beginning of time,if there are,are they brave enough to visit zeitgeist where you will be shown how many saviours there have been who had 12 deciples, rose from the dead ,walked on water and claimed all the miracles JC himself is credited with, written historical facts my friends, which is more than we can say about a book written by one group in an effort to manipulate and hence control the simple minds of the gentiles.and of course this dialogue will probably found offensive as opposed to educational and consequently not published by the smaall people.

The problem is that the word myth is misunderstood. It's always seen as negative. People rarely understand it's real meaning. Until people grasp what mythology is and what its purpose is, they will always object to any suggestion that their book is mythology.

Many people don't realize that the Bible was written by people chosen by the Roman emperor. Only TRUE Christians seems to know that.
The Bible has many contradictory versions. They don't realize that there was a sacred feminine in the beginning of time. They assume that the world was born sexist because of what the Bible said.
Jesus was chosen as a catalyst by the Roman emperor because it benefitted Christianity. The Roman emperor told Jesus to go around telling everyone he was the son of God.
And the Bible was written like any history book. The winning side gets to write the history, which also means the winning side can skew history if it wants.
Most people also don't know that the Bible is basically a compilation of the Torah and Quran.
And if you look in a painting of the Last Supper, you'll notice there is a woman sitting next to Jesus. Funny. Everyone believes that there were nothing but male disciples in the painting. I wonder what that means?
Christianity, like everything else manmade, was created to benefit someone. It benefited the Roman Emperor and was spread as propaganda to encourage people to convert from their pagan roots to Christian roots since Christianity was becoming popular.
But paganism was the original religion from the beginning of time. The Romans worshipped the sun. The cross didn't have any meaning until Jesus was nailed on it, then it became a symbol of torture. Before, it was just the rays of the sun. But now Christians pretty much wear the little electric chairs around their neck as a reminder that Jesus died for false sins.
Sin is manmade as well.

Oral creation stories abound in every culture. There's no denying that. They were largely overlooked because they were not writen down until about a hundred years ago. Anyone can open a high school American Literature text and read all about the Native American creation stories, the coyote, Ataensic, the turtle, so many others. Evidently, some people slept through that class.

Does Myth mean False? How about the Myth of the Big Bang? It seems to be true to me. But it is a Myth. A Story we create to describe an event we imagine happen to describe an event we don't fully understand. Myth... but likely. In this world, 95% of us believe in something. Whether God, or Gods, or Goddess, or Spirits, or Great Spirit, or whatever. Do you really believe 95% of us are entirely self deluded?

Yes, I don't believe the Bible is not a compilation of myths. Zeitgeist, is propaganda, I would not take it as gospel. "Who are the small people?" We are all created the same. So I guess that means we are all equal, whats wrong with a simple mind.

It all goes back to fear. With all of the slight of hand and hocus pocus, their lealders have Christians so scared of; Protestants and Catholics, losing their souls to eternal damnation and torture, JW's being destroyed at Armageddon, etc. that they are afraid to even have an original thought unless they clear it with the pope/preacher/elder first. It's hard to see any possible truth when it's a sin to look.

There were and will always be those who belive and those of us who don't regardless of the evidence. I do believe that it's hard wired in some of us. I copied this off Google.
Religion in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaMost U.S. adult citizens identify themselves as Christians (76.5 - 78.5% [2] [3]). ..... Eleven percent did not believe in God, and 16% were uncertain. ...

If the Bible is a myth then God is a myth.
Read Genesis - The word was with God and the word was God.
If you simply take that statement and elaborate upon it then you have to think that God and THE HOLY BIBLE are one in the same and if you do not think that then that is your own choice.
