should i get pokemon fire red or emerald?

If you have Pokemon Ruby and/or Sapphire, while Emerald is a better version of the two, it's nothing to write home about. Not many differences. If you don't have them, go for Emerald, but if you do, go for Fire Red.

Fire Red because once you beat the game you can transfer pokemon from emerald saphire and ruby also it has some awesome areas that blue and red dont have

definatley has to be emerald as fire red is a classic now......exactly like the old pokemon red version

emerald, fire red is EXACTLY like the original red version, just better graphics. everything is the same, and i found it to be a little annoying.

Emerald seems to move faster if you like speed, but both are qually fun.

GBA games have passed their time..Buy a nintendo ds and get diamond/pearl.
