Should a person who moves to another country try to blend in?
What I mean by blend is: wear the same type of clothing and learn how to speak the language.
That is what I would do if I moved to another country. Many here don't seem to want to blend.

They should definitely speak the language and not try to turn certain neighborhoods into the country they came from. I think people should be able to wear what they want, thats not irritating to me. Whats irritating is the little Tijuanas that I experienced while living in LA, or the little Saigons. You'll see a whole shopping center with shops ONLY catered for them and ONLY in their language. Thats not blending at all and I resent anyone who does this because it further separates us.

I think anyone should have the free right to move where they want to, but if a person wants to be accepted somewhere, they should make every effort to adopt the cultural norms of wherever they are going and learn the language. I even try to do this when I travel, as much as possible given time constraints. I think that if a person prefers the customs and language of their home country, they should continue to reside in their home country and not go someplace else and expect others to accommodate them.

I think learning the language is most important...clothes not so much.
