Why do fans complain about the storylines and the things Vince do in WWE?

Fans will complain but they continue to watch and not watch another company, why is that?

People complain because we know wrestling is "fake" or "scripted" or whatever the popular word is this week.

Before Vince destroyed kayfabe there was always that small little doubt about what was real and what was "fake".

Now, there is no doubt. Everything we see is manufactured by Vince, the writers, the road agents, and the boys and girls in the ring. There is no more "smoke and mirrors", all of the secrets have been revealed. We all know it.

And every single one of us is an arm-chair Vince McMahon. We all know we can do a much better job than the man (and his team) himself.

We complain because we CAN. And because we're all afraid of appearing "gullible" and being called a "mark" we scoff and chuckle at that silly rasslin' stuff rather than admit we enjoy the show.

TNA is a very viable alternative to Vince's programming yet few will give it a chance. They whine and complain about everything in the WWE yet they won't change the channel. Strange. No other TV show has this much loyalty from fans who complain and claim to hate what that show is doing.

My best guess is one I've written many times before. Vince McMahon destroyed pro wrestling and replaced it with "sports entertainment" with it's glitzy production and pretty superstars. He told us all that the WWE is the only promotion that matters and all of the rest of them aren't even worth mentioning. Most fans are just "WWE fans" and don't really care about the wrestling part of the show, thus another promotion won't interest them. The WWE does do "sports entertainment" better than any other promotion, but it's really the only one who does. TNA is trying, but they're still new and trying to find their stride, made much more difficult by the millions of hostile "WWE fans" complaining even more about their product than they do the WWE's.

Another problem prompting the complaints is the glut of WWE programming on TV. There's just way too much of it. Five hours of prime time a week, AND a PPV every month? Ridiculous. They go back to just Monday Night RAW and a PPV every four months and the complaints will drastically reduce because the fans will be more thankful for what they get, rather than complain because there is an over-abundance of material to pick apart.

For one: Stop distracting me from writing your match (UN)!

Answer: Fans will always be unhappy unless it is their favorite superstar getting it all, they find it much easier to complain and point out the bad of a situation than even BEGINNING to look for the good of it. Complaining just annoys others and doesn't hurt the company, and they can complain all they want but it won't do a single thing. Continuing to watch makes Vince think that you like the storyline and so things like that will continue and follow. Watching another company, having an open mind, or looking for the good could ease all of it; however I don't see it happening here.

to quote Matt Hardy's theme song, fitting here, "You'll never find your pleasure, if you worry about your pain."

It makes no sense to me at all why they complain yet still watch. If they are that bothered by it then they should stop watching and go watch another Wrestling company rather than go on about how bad it is.

The thing is some fans these days are never satisfied and the stuff they see is never enough for them. It isn't what they want to they complain and complain if their not happy but they still watch it because they are either unfamiliar with other companies or just watch it and hope it gets better.

They forget that WWE is there to entertain millions of people not just one person. You could have thousands who arn't happy but the million others who are. Those type of fans only care about getting what they want and being satisfied.

Sometimes the fans are happy and sometimes they are not. It confuses me how they complain about something such as Cena winning all the time and then when he starts to lose they complain again. Its stupid. The bottom line is WWE cant win and everytime they make some fans happy they make other fans complain. It baffles me how fans go on about how crap it is yet continue to watch it. IMO its just plain dumb.

No, because WWE is still Wrestling, and it is in their name, World "Wrestling" Entertainment! If WWE does not want fans to complain about the Wrestling, then they have to change the program entirely, by getting rid of the Wrestling Ring, getting rid of the belts, and getting rid of the wrestlers, and just turning it into a soap opera like Days of our lives, and focus on an entertainment program with Storylines, but we both know WWE isn't going to do that, because the basis of WWE is Wrestling, always has been and always will be, because that is what makes WWE money, so, I think fans have every right to criticize WWE's Wrestling Matches, and I think deep down you know that is true! BQ: Nope, I could care less!

They complain because everything doesn't go the way they wanted it to, when any little thing changes that they don't like, they complain instead of just taking it as it is. When i watch, there is hardly anything that i complain about, i might not like it much but i don't go online and rant about it over and over to see if anyone else feels the same way, its just pathetic. Just watch the damn show, be entertained, and enjoy cause there aint a damn thing you can do to change it.

And don't expect anything, almost all of the times that the fans expect something to happen, vince himself will change plans to keep you on your feet, like having RVD win his last match instead of lose to randy, bringing Cena back in last minute at RR and win, and HHH move to SD instead of the almost confirmed John Cena

Not watching would hurt the company far more than complaining will. I dont know why people complain but still watch, doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me. Its like going to the movies and seeing a horrible movie, you complain about how bad it is but you dont go back to watch it again. People who do complain should really just stop watching.

Because Deep Down They Love It And Like Anything That Somebody Loves They Will Always Find A Way To Either Argue With It Or Put It Down But Deep Down They Appreciate It !! And So Do I !!

I Never Critisise Them Everything They Do They Do For A Reason !!!

    I don't know.

If people really thought WWE was crap and they were really into Professional Wrestling like they say, they'd already be looking for another organization. WWE is on TV....SO?! If you hate WWE so much, watch something else and stop complaining. There are other organizations out there with better wrestling matches and uncomplicated storylines to follow. Why stick with one because it's on TV? Just stop watching it; what's so hard?
