3.9 hour work week, Is Congress lazy?

Is this really true? While it certainly seems like it, it can't really be that bad, can it?

We would all like to work a short week like that and take many long vacations. Then get a full years salary of 169K per year. The Speaker and Majority Leaders in both the House and the Senate earn more.

How many of us would be tossed out of our boss's office for saying, "I am going to work 4 hours a week, take many weeks off at my discretion and you are going to pay me $169,000 a year plus benefits."

The arrogance in D.C. is mind boggling.

Less than four hours a week?

How much are they paying them per hour for this deal, and where do I get an application form?

Even 3.9 hours is TOO MUCH!!!

and these are the people running the greatest superpower country on this universe...

I wonder how many of those hours go to giving themselves raises.

Honestly, it wasn't meant to be a full-time job.

That's not at all surprising.

It doesn't take long to accomplish nothing.
