Just talk to people there but keep it short and simple, don't talk about your deepest feelings, tell your life story, or ask other people what they think about what's going on in your life. Stick close to the guy who invited you and if anything does go wrong, act like it does not upset you even if it does. You can deal with it later. Good luck.

Well you'll never no unless you try. Go to the party and if no one talks to you you talk to them and I would think that it will be fun go to the party. And if no one talks to you and you are way to shy to talk to them just talk to your friend at lease you will be talking to someone.
