God gave us canine teeth to rip and tear meat....but in the garden Adam and Eve didn't need to eat meat....

What do you think of God's provision for us.even to the point of knowing that we wouldn't be vegetarians forever?

well maybe Adam didn't have canine teeth, just plain chompers? Or he didn't need canine teeth until he was out of Eden. God is great isn't He? He sees thru all time and space and is in control of everything, even our teeth!

The question assumes Adam and Eve had canine teeth. Do we know this for a fact? If we don't know for sure that Adam and Eve had canine teeth, how can a person hope to give a valid answer to the question. All one can do is give rank speculation.

The Bible itself speaks of many variations within the human species.

Leave this to one of the many things humans are unable to answer authoritatively.

God gave us teeth. There is nothing in the Bible or any other religious book that says God gave us canine teeth to rip and tear meat. Scientist decided that all on their own, after they decided that we all came from rock soup.

Maybe they were wrong in that decision also. Maybe we have canine teeth so that the root vegetables and leafy vegetables would be easier to eat/rip/tear. I really don’t know for sure why we have them and neither does any one else. There are just theories about teeth just are there are theories about many other things.

    3 things:

    1. Because God knew Adam and Eve were going to sin, and He knew nothing was going to stop them from sinning, so He placed Canine Teeth on us, cause He knew where Going to adapt into eating Meat.. and such

    or

    2. If that wasn't the case, well before Adam and Eve didn't sin, the canine teeth were strong enough (without pain by biting hard) could of been for hard fruits and such like pineapple, and such.. put it this way..

no sin = no pain, no pain= strength to were you wont feel pain by breaking hard things and lifting heavy things. so everything was perfect. :)

so it was either placed on us cause He knew the future of our fate, or It was for hard fruits since there was no sin to where we will feel pain and they both were healthy enough to be strong..

    or

    3. both of the above

Source(s): oh and another thing: Adam and Eve didn't have belly buttons, cause they weren't in the womb of their mother, so they never had a Umbilical Cord. We have Umbilical Cords cause we were born in a womb of our mother... Adam and Eve were Made By God out of a womb, while me and you were made by God inside the womb

To be honest, I have never considered whether Adam and Eve had canine teeth or whether humans adapted them after the fall. I kind of put this in the category of whether Adam had a belly button. Or where fleas came from (and weeds).

But if you are able to see God's provision in this, you are right. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, by a loving Creator.

Source(s): jj kisha (kael), I am extremely double-jointed in my thumbs and I started playing video games last year at the age of 40. They didn't even have PC's until I was practically out of school. And my child, who has been a gamer since he was 5 does not have double-jointed thumbs. But you should see his toes. I don't know, I can recall most of the 70's and we did entertain ourselves by exposing all of our little "talents" to each other just like kids do today. LOL I think it's genetic, my mom's thumbs are like mine. I think the ambidextrous thing is that we have gotten rid of the societal aversion to being left-handed, and we are finding out that many families with lefties contain ambidextrous people (like my family again). I just think it's genetic, but it's interesting to speculate.

Actually God doesn't care for vegetarians......

For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. (Romans 14:2)

    and

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils ... commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. (1 Timothy 4:1-3).

So not eating meat makes you weak and means you follow Satan. Obviously the increase in people becoming vegetarians means the end times are nigh....so repent and eat a turkey sandwich for the sake of your immortal soul !!!!!!!!!!

Actually God told them which ones not to eat.

Well, he used animal skins for them for a covering for their bodies. I doubt he killed an animal and let it go to waste.

Not so goo, but evolution did well for dogs and other animals.
