May be what you are looking for. It is rather hard core, and the erotica is a major part of the sci fi plot rather than simply being a book that uses sci fi for sleaze. The novel is thought provoking, and the erotica is also. Truly a rare specimen.

There are entire publishing lines now of SF/Fantasy romance novels, which you can typically find under the "Romance" section.

Joanna Russ, Pamela Sargent, Tanith Lee, Elizabeth A. Lynn, and even Ursula LeGuin have written many excellent books focusing on sexuality and relationships in SF settings.

If by "erotic" you mean sleeze, there are also soft-porn novels that use SF settings. You'd find some in "herotica" collections of short stories.

Remember though SF is usually considered a "thinking" person's genre, thus is not too focused on emotion or erotica at all.

Dune by Frank Herbert, Grass by Sheri S Tepper, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert A Heinlein or Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.

Tanith Lee's Silver Metal Lover. It's not erotic in the sense that it's filled with sex scenes, but in an overall sensuality and awakening.

Modern or nowadays published sci-fi novels.
