Returning a jeans at JC Penney??

......I spent 5 years in the "rag" business.....2 in management.....a receipt would be helpful but doesn't necessarily rule you out if you DON'T have it.....it would be best if they didn't know the jeans had been worn.....wrinkles on the back of the legs ....blah...blah...blah......dry clean if you have to.....be polite but firm if they turn you down initially......ask for the manager..or even go higher up if you have to...be polite but immovable.......THEY will do it......I've NEVER failed (with or without a receipt)in a return attempt.....ANYWHERE.......so I know it can be done.......chances are...they are not going to really care....especially since it's a low ticket item and there is no refund involved........you could claim the were missized if you measured them.....to measure inseam length.....take a tape measure and measure from the crotch inseam underneath the fly all the way to the bottom....this will give you the length measurement of 34" or whatever.....then you could say that you needed another length...but hey....we're getting into "advanced returns 201"......lol.....concerning the tags.....again...it would be better if you had them....but I'm guessing that you tossed them....(next time , save them for a few weeks)......if they ask why you took them off.....sya that your girlfriend did....and you didn't try them on for a few days later......and the trash was gone.....they probably won't even ask.....if you go at night when the part itme help is there instead of the cranky old ladies...sometimes that can help...tyr to find a JC Penny's sack.....that makes you look better when you walk in to the counter....

No, they do not expect returns or exchanges without a receipt and/or the tags. You could try to return them if you still have the receipt but they may sense that you have washed them and not except them back.

if u have the receipt it will be cool.

But JC Penny is really mean about returning things even though you will be able to they will be mean about it. Just letting you know!!
