I am attempting to transfer to a new college, but my SATs are over 5 years old.?

Do I need to retake the SATs. I have a very good score already, but I might be able to improve upon it (because of writing section) but am unsure on whether or not I should retest?

    Call the specific colleges, some do not allow you to submit an SAT score that was taken once you started college. If you have a good score just go with it, many schools are not counting the writing portion yet.
