Any rifle labeled 5.56x45 can fire a .223 cartridge.... On the other hand it is not advisable to put 5.56 ammo in any rifle labeled .223....

Read the below link. There is an informative article that will answer your question...

Yes but you never want to shoot 556 out of a gun made for 223 because the 556 round is stronger and will damage a gun made for 223. Same size but the 556 is much stronger.

For accuracy, you won't be able to tell the difference. in theory, a 223 chamber is a tad more accurate. However, in this realm we are already talking about getting a specialty barrel or if not that handpicking the best shooter out of 100 standard barrels. Then it is a case of the 5.56 giving 1.5 MOA on average and with a really good barrel getting 1.0 MOA, and the 223 getting 1.5 MOA on average and with a really good barrel getting 1.0 MOA...but maybe getting 0.75 MOA

yes, shooting 223 out of a 556 is absolutely fine...

It is not adviseable to shoot 556 out of a 223 chambered weapon.

    5th paragraph

You can shoot .223 out of a gun chambered in 5.56x45mm. The debate is going the other way (shooting 5.56 out of a gun chambered in .223), and it's a highly questionable debate at that.
