anyone believe end of world in 2012??
Apparently the Mayan calendar ends on Dec. 21 2012, and supposedly it is the end of the world or something like that. I don't really believe it myself, (looking back at all the other end-of-world predictions in the past) it's probably just another hype. what do you think?

Hello,
No, 2012 will come and go like any other year, turn of a century or a millennium as as before we'll get the same litany of excuses as to why the world ended not and the date will be rescheduled once again.
Cheers,

There have been a lot of questions on this tonight.
I figure that Dec. 21, 2012 will just be another day in the past in our not so distance future. It will come and go just like the rest.... just like the many other predicted Armageddons (Y2K being a prime example).
Although deep down I don't believe it will happen, it thrills me, as it apparently does many people, to anticipate it. It's just another thing to make life somewhat exciting the next several years.
PS: "2012" by Whitley Strieber is pretty good.....pick it up and read it sometime soon if you haven't yet.

The world changes at that date in a glorious way so it is more like the old world dies and a new world is left to grow. It is all physics, as the earths frequency is rising and also creating the frequency in humans to rise so that the old control freaks and the world domination creeps will not survive. This is a natural event in which our sun is a grand play, throwing off solar flares and heating up our earth!

very few human beings trust it. actually some gullible youngsters and new-age wackos who may have accomplished more suitable if that that they had decrease down on the leisure drugs. Predictions of doom in 2012 are a collection of fairytales, made up by those who opt to sound significant yet did not take adequate technological information in college. each actual one of their claims can surely be disproved. there'll be no pole shift, Planet X/Nibiru, deadly image voltaic typhoon, uncommon alignment, photon belt nor the different of the made-up nonsense. it really is only a heap of garbage.

That date represents the end of an age, not necessarily the end of the world.

The Mayans weren't very good about predicting their own demise, much less anyone else's. Too busy beheading each other I guess.

About every 30 minutes, on here. So my guess is quite a few people. I think they're just recyling "the sky is falling" from Y2K. Good times...
