Is it even possible for a liberal to lose to Alan Keyes in an Illinois state election?

Illinois is a liberal state, and most republicans won't even vote for Keyes.

    Well I suppose it's possible. Alan Keyes is not the most compelling person in the world anyway though, even to republicans.
