That's a tough one.
How long have you been together? I'm assuming you do not live together?
I think now is the time to have a nice long talk.
You mentioned she is in her early 40's, so I'm thinking she must have a life of work, possibly kids? and other obligations?
Just talk to her, ask her point blank if she is still wanting to be with you. You might get the answers you want, and then again, perhaps not. Either way, you will know where you stand.
Best wishes

How long have you been together?
It sounds like she might have be taking a break from the relationship without discussing it with you.
Or...
She seriously is not having the best time schedule for dating right now. If she's in her 40s, and is a career woman - that may be what's most important thing for her right now, and not a relationship.
Usually women at this age, have made up their mind about what their lifestyle will be like. Her image of success and happiness might be advancing in the corporate world, and not so much in the romance market.

You've been together 3 weeks? Sounds like she's not interested any more. If you really want her to come back, don't try and reach her so often. Let her wonder where you went. If you keep trying to go after her, you'll just drive her away for sure.

That guy whose name I don't know says it best
"She's just not that into you." I'm sorry. Good luck.
