Good point...I love the fact that he tries to use the fact he was a POW as his calling card that he is pro soldier, but voted against a bill that would give vets more of everything...a fact is a fact. Funny that Obama seems to care more about our military than a vet...sad.

It's HOW and FOR WHAT do these guys support the veterans. Just give them all a blanket of money and aid? We appreciate what each and every veteran has done to keep us safe, but you can't just have every little thing.

Obama supports spending tax payers money any way possible.

McCain is cautious on how he spends out money. And he votes against bills that are poorly written with lots of pork & other bad stuff added on.

Waiting for a better bill doesn't translate to having something against Veterans. Obama wants to dramatically cut military funding, including getting rid of the FCS research.

Suffice it to say you're just not well read on the bills themselves, nor his reason for opposing them.

He doesnt need to actually support the veterans, because people assume, like you and i did before we actually did some research, that he does support our troops. It is amazing how little he truly cares about the men and women serving. It was one of the major deciding factors in my not supporting him.
