A pack and play.. awesome for all ages (well not past the climbing stage, but thats what? 1? 1 1/2? you get a lot of use out of it.. throw some toys in and you can cook, clean without toys and baby crawling or walking after you dumping toys along the way..

Mylecon drops.. my baby was sooo gassy.. oh and i used recieving blankets as burp cloths! My kid would not "dribble" he spat it up.. so i needed something bigger than those tiny burp cloths.

  • target has this little timer called Itzbeen- its on clearance now. In the beginning when everything was a blurr it really helped to be able to look and see how long it was since a feed, a diaper change, how long a nap has lasted and even the last time he was given tylenol (for pain from a UTI.) I still use it now at night and it's wonderful! All I have to do is glance at it and see how long he's been sleeping.

Two things that personally made my life easier as a parent were a hanging moving musical toy (above crib) and a pacifier :)

It does sound as in case you have solid help out of your boyfriend. that's a start up! in step with hazard it would not could desire to be a strictly the two-or determination between what your dad and mom take into attention and this type of issues that interest you. there are various belongings you're able to do in the music international with a employer historic past. in case you have a solid school consultant and/or a solid profession middle in school, they could be waiting to coach you a thank you to artwork out something that integrates your modern-day examine and talents (because of the fact, as you're saying, you're experienced in those aspects) with extra inventive profession paths that could desire to interest you. after all, you certainly do not choose for to do something that's going to make you depressing. Do your homework first and have a solid concept what some sensible profession strategies for you're, with a plan for a thank you to realize those targets, then sit down at the same time with your dad and mom and have an truthful communicate with them approximately what you do and don't choose for to do at the same time with your existence. i anticipate a brilliant area of the difficulty is which you desire them to finance your coaching in regardless of you pick for to do, so which you won't be in a position to blow off their comments fullyyt. The extra coaching you have performed the extra they're going to admire what you may desire to assert. they could even have some solid strategies as quickly as you get a communique going the place the two sides are incredibly listening to one yet another.

Once the baby is mobile...an exersaucer! It made getting dinner on the table so much easier.

Boppy pillow. Not only great for breast-feeding, but a place to set your baby to free up your hands for a little while and it's EXCELLENT in the hospital after baby's birth, especially if you've had a c-section. :)

My baby had colic...so the vaccum cleaner was our best friend. So instead if using that, we bought a white noise machine from target and he still sleeps with it in his room...i was a life saver. Also, the bouncer, and a play mat.

A fan or noisy humidifier. Everytime I put it on it meant night-night and she'd fall right asleep.

Also a pacifier. Thumb suckers are way harder to break than the pacifier.

A baby sling! I honestly don't know how people function without one. You can do everything, and they are right there swaying with your every move and as happy as a clam, while you make a sandwich, do the dishes, brush your teeth...its amazing.

  • Mylecon, baby Tylenol, receiving blankets (tons of them), a good rocking chair, a journal, and friends to talk to
