Applying for a disability pension in Canada, Tips pls?

I have bad back problems that I have had now for 10 years as the result of a snowmobile accident, I have re injured it several times since at work and have been to countless doctors and back specialist, surgeons, chiropractors, physical therapy. Non of this can help my back, it worsens all the time. I have not worked in 6 months now because of it but still have too much pain. I believe I should qualify for a disability pension and plan to apply but was hoping to get some tips on what to put in my application to be sure it will be approved and also what I could expect for a monthly income from it having 1 depended child.

Thanks in advance.
