Is McBama's joint statement in support of a bailout bill just by itself enough reason to vote 3rd party?
""The American people are facing a moment of economic crisis. No matter how this began, we all have a responsibility to work through it and restore confidence in our economy. The jobs, savings, and prosperity of the American people are at stake.
"Now is a time to come together -- Democrats and Republicans -- in a spirit of cooperation for the sake of the American people. The plan that has been submitted to Congress by the Bush Administration is flawed, but the effort to protect the American economy must not fail.
"This is a time to rise above politics for the good of the country. We cannot risk an economic catastrophe. Now is our chance to come together to prove that Washington is once again capable of leading this country."
Only 7% of Americans are in favor of a bailout.
Have they stopped even pretending they represent us?
Do you think this bailout should go through?
Chuck 7% was a Rasmussen poll. If it is skewed, they skewed it.
I just saw a Dem senator quoted as saying the calls to Congress were 50% "no" on the bailout, and the other 50% "Hell, no!"
So who do they think they are representing, here?

Your are right, but at this point even a 3rd party would need great power, will, and nerve to tackle and take down the established economic system. The bail out will pass because our Government leads us with short sighted and ignorant policies that only keeps them in power and gives profit to the banking industry that runs our currency, and essentially our sovereignty.
"It is only after we have lost everything that we are free to do anything" said Tyler Durden in the movie Fight Club. Sadly, this is also what is going to have to happen to us regular folks in America before we can start anew. It is not until all of our wealth, labor and goods, have been transfered over to the International banking elite that it will dawn on the majority of the public that they have been scammed.
At the current point, how can the "elected" officials serve the public, when the currency they depend on is regulated by a private banking enterprise!?
It is not a coincidence that Buffet just invested 5 billion into Goldman Sachs and that JP Morgan was able to buy Washington Mutual for literally almost nothing. The losers are you and I, our dollar, and our economic sovereignty.

Ron Paul does not support a bailout. I'm with Ron Paul both in stance and on the ballot!
Kill the bailout: Illegal immigration and the mortgage mess
By Michelle Malkin • September 24, 2008 07:49 AM
My syndicated column today tackles the bailout angle no one wants to talk about: Open borders and the home loan debacle. You’ve heard a lot about Fannie/Freddie and the minority lending shakedowns, but you haven’t heard most commentators/analysts on either the left or the right talk about the massive illegal alien mortgage racket — a topic I’ve reported on for the past five years. That’s because fault lies at the feet of the crime-enabling banking industry and the ethnic lobbyists and the illegal alien-enabling Bush administration.

Wells Fargo was the first major California lender to offer home loans to illegal immigrants.

Future 'Profits' In Bailout Bill To Be Directed To La Raza And ACORN Ahead Of Americans
By Digger
So Democrats are saying that this bailout is for the good of the country, the economy and the American people. They fail to note a few stipulations in the proposed bill that are quite disturbing. First, we have been told that the American people could make money off of this deal. Second, we have been told that if a bailout doesn't occur and that their corporate buddies and donors aren't given billions that you will suffer.
Of course in all of this they left out the mention of a little portion of the proposed bill that directs initial profits into left wing and the pro illegal alien coffers of ACORN and La Raza before it is "distributed" back to the American people. Dare I say an "earmark" to those who are in favor of breaking the law?

Hey folks, the "bailout" does not "prevent" a depression, it prolongs it by a few months and ultimately makes the situation worse.
Fannie and Freddie was the deathblow. It's done with. Inflationary depression is now inevitable. Chinese banks are already refusing loans to US banks, and soon they will drop the dollar as a reserve currency. When that happens, the value of the dollar will go into freefall as other nations follow suit.
This "bailout" bill is actually (if you read it) about consolidation of power. It basically privatizes the Treasury by merging it with the Fed, and grants immunity to everyone involved in this treason.
In simple terms, the keys to our entire economy are being officially, openly handed over to private interests. This sort of occurred already, with the 1913 Federal Reserve Act... but this bill endorsed by Paulson, Bernanke and Bush is even worse.
To finally answer your question... YES. It certainly should be.
But people have been so twisted around by the lies that they actually think this is GOOD for them...
...not to mention the fact that maybe 1% actually understands that the two parties are controlled by the same globalist groups.
People will just keep on voting CFR Republicrats into office, until the job is done.

I just can't resist duct-taping a "reality check" to the toe of my boot and delivering it to the "brain" of D.C. through its proverbial atrium (which is just about the right size ... oh never mind) ...
Take this, for instance:
"Now is a time to come together -- Democrats and Republicans -- in a spirit of cooperation for the sake of the American people.
Okay. Democrats and Republicans...let's see, that sums up to maybe eleven Citizens. Then, "...in a spirit..." -- either they function more efficiently dead, drunk or dead-drunk.
But THIS takes the cake:
Now is our chance to come together to prove that Washington is once again capable of leading this country."
"...leading..."? What the devil happened to SERVING this country?
Need I say more?
...

it should only pass if they give a clean slate to the mortgage crisis as well, that is the only way i think it should pass, and by the idea that if the tax payers are treated as investors then sure, but the break down happened because, according the the secretary of the treasury stated that , they had no number in mind, they just thought that 700 billion was a " big enough number to relay to the american people ", so that comment is scary, what are they going to do in the last months while in office?

A vote for a CFR Candidate is ALWAYS a wasted vote. Its amazing how people have been suckered into the false left/right paradigm. They really think that just because Obama is a Dem, and McCain is GOP, that they are 'different'. Sorry folks, check their voting records. THEY ARE ALMOST THE SAME, except for a few cosmetic differences.
They are both members of the Council On Foreign Relations, who's goal is the dissolution of the U.S. and the formation of a One World Government. If you don't care about losing our constitution and civil liberties, then by all means, vote for one of these globalist puppets.
A vote for a Third Party is not a wasted vote. Voting is not about WINNING, it is about choosing the path that you believe is best. It is absurd to think any different. People are so caught up in the idea of "winning", that they don't even see how much they're losing in the process.
"The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is the American Branch of a society which originated in England ... (and) ... believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established."
- Carroll Quigley, member of Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), mentor to Bill Clinton, quote from “Tragedy and Hope”, 1966
"The powers of financial capitalism had (a) far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

This question can only be answered by each individual. This is more a question about what do we do now than proper fiscal policy. If you feel that this type of fiscal policy is a product of the way the two prominent political parties have conducted fiscal policy, then it is certainly time to consider different ways of doing things, and perhaps even time to consider a third party. There are numerous third parties and they present real options to the present two major parties and deserve consideration by all the voter who care about the future of the United States of America.

This is a perfect time for either candidate to shine and show their qualification as President. Unfortunately neither one would step up and say anything significant. Nieither one would show how they are different from the other candidate nor would they show how they would handle these situation if they are elected.

Too much is at stake to waste my vote on a 3rd party just so I feel idealistically correct. I am too pragmatic for that. I feel that we have to come together in a bi-partisan agreement for a bailout but voting for a 3rd party candidate will do nothing but create a footnote to history.
Most Americans, including myself, don't understand all the details of the financial meltdown and any subsequent bailout. I believe that a third of Americans are for a bailout, from the polls I've seen. A third are against it and a third are unsure.
What we don't need is a small group of Repubs. or Democrats trying to insert pet issues into the bailout bill that would best be addressed by separate legislation.

The bailout, unfortunately has to happen whether we want it or not. THe real solution is to get rid of McSame who helped get us into this mess in the first place with his unbending support for deregulating the mortgage industry.
