A fair few- I can't throw them away. As many as I can read. I love books- I would like to have enough to fill one of those walls made of just books. I don't really buy expensive books- I usually get them second hand from Ebay or charity shops. My favourite book is Howls Moving Castle- it is witty, I adore the characters and because it is so familiar to me now- it is comforting so I read it when I am ill or feeling down. I know its kind of a kid book but I think its lovely. Boudica - Dreaming the Serpent by Manda Scott. I have read the other three and this is the last one. I love this series and I can't wait to get a copy. Fantasy- I just like to get away from this world for a while and forget about the bad and even the good of this life adn consider what it would be like somewhere else. If I wanted to learn about the reality of this world or life then I could just watch the news.

I love Meg Cabot (Heather Wells & Queen of Babble, and tons of others), Sophie Kinsella's (Shopaholic [soon to be movie] & Remember Me), Jennifer Weiner (Good in Bed & Certain Girls) and Emily Giffin (Something Borrowed & Something Blue) books. They are all great authors!

For a young adult/teen Meg Cabot's young adult books. She is the best author. Also best selling. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), Jinx, Airhead and more. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her.

If you want more info or any of the authors website's email me.

Catcher in the Rye - and I didn't like it, but my roomie loves it. you can try it if you want

Otherwise, I would recommend the Twilight series (very addicting). But those are fast reads.

Maybe, if you like thrillers, you'd like Michael Crichton - I love a bunch of his books, especially Timeline and Congo. They can be really suspenseful and thrilling

Twilight, NEw Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn...excellent books, fast reads. It's been my experience that even ppl that don't normally like the genre still enjoy these books.

Of course like any good book it has a following of haters as well.

    Hope i helped!

  • Are you talking about "Catcher in the Rye"? that's a good book

Check out Nicholas Sparks also, he's great.

P.S. I love You, the book is 100x better than the movie, the movie is good in it's own right.
