pro. we need to concentrait our efforts in iraq. it s not about oil. it is about settin up a government that will not turn around and bomb us later down the road. we need to stop the insurgent efforts and death is just a price we are willing to take to ensure the american dream is lived out. and why are anti war people on the military forum?

Pro war, and supporting my family and frienda all the way through until the end.
Pulling out (whether it be tomorrow or in 16 months etc.) without finishing what we started will completely destroy everything we've worked for over the past 7 years. Like it or not - we need to stay and see it through the end.

I'm with the guy who said our resources would have been better used in Afghanistan.
We know that Al-Queda is there and should have wiped them out.
My question to the other posters is: When we will be "done"? When the Iraqis say thank you, we have it from here? I just don't see the Iraqis taking over in a comprehensive way anytime soon.
EDIT: I got thumbs down but no answer; I ask again, when we will have finished what we started? How will we know? X amount of days without an American service member dying? A formal declaration from the Iraqi government? What exactly will signal that we are done? Anyone?

Pro if we pull out now what does that say...we don't finish what we start. For all my fellow service members that gave the ultimate sacrifice I think that would be an insult to them and there family members.

anti war. I think it's more about oil, than it was ever about terrorism.
