Well don't stop answering, that's silly. Just understand that it's a completely backward world here on Y!A. Answers get deleted - they won't give you a solid reason why, and they throw all your appeals in the trash without consideration anyway. Someone posts a foul question spewing hatred and such, if you answer a decent answer, that BAD guy can get your GOOD response deleted. Isn't that something? Nothing is really read or considered, really. Whatever, there's nothing we can do about it, so just forget the nonsense and answer as you like.

You can only give answers in English on the English web sites, unless someone is asking how you say something in particular in a different language. You have to post an answer in the language of the web site. If you had just given the answer you did in English, it would have been fine, because it's an appropriate answer.

If this is your first violation, try not to worry about it too much. As long as you don't do it again, you should be fine. It is upsetting to get a violation, but almost everyone gets at least one. Please keep answering and good luck in the future.

Sorry, but this is a valid violation. You were supposed to post answers in English on this site. That was a bad idea to answer the question in a foreign language, thus incurring a "Not in Correct Language" violation as a result. If you keep on doing that repeatedly, you can kiss your Answers account goodbye because it can be placed on permanent suspension-maybe even have your entire Y! account terminated without warning. Enough said on this one.

Answers must be in the language of the country it is posted in. This states all English questions and so your answer is a violation. Sorry but it's Yahoos site they can make the rules.

To answer your question: Yes I can.

You are in English section and you answered in the language that the asker likely won't understand. The asker has the right to report it because you certainly violated the guideline.

Y!A owns this site so they can say it's wrong and not necessarily have to tell you why. Annoying? yes. Rather harsh? probably. Unfair? may be. But it is their site and they make the rule.

Get over this and just enjoy the site.

If you want to speak your language do it in the India Yahoo answers. Not on here then you wont have any problems. The person asked the Q in English and would like a response in the same language I think Yahoo answers is right to ban your account if you keep doing it.

my friend got his account deleted coz he gave a reference of a torrent site which is banned but i dont find any reason for your account been deleted for such answer.

It only takes one person that doesn't agree or understand your answer that can report you, there is no board of review at yahoo that determines this. It's just people in cyberspace that read your questions like you and me.
