Aloe Vera Gel vs. Aloe Vera Plant and Cats?

Cloud Star Buddy Wash is made for both cat and dog use, and one of its primary ingredients is Aloe Vera gel.

I have used this wash for 7 out of my 8 cats, and for both of my dogs, and none of my cats have gotten sick, even if there is leftover shampoo in their fur. Looking online, people have had cats grow ill from this wash. I have been using it for years, multiple times for each cat (my long haired kitten the most) and I have never encountered this issue.

I know biting the plant is poisonous, but is the gel from inside just as bad?

This body wash specifically says that is good for BOTH DOGS /AND/ CATS, and can be used with both. I already have checked the official website, thank you.

I always employ the most common addage, if the product is questionable I'd avoid using it. Just because it says it's safe for pets, some products have been found to be extremely lethal. A good example is Hartz products. Their products have caused seizures, chemical burns and even death.http://www.hartzvictims.org/
