I discovered that I don't need a man to be happy - I stayed in a marriage where I was really miserable because I felt like I would be judged for 'giving up'. The reality was that I had put a massive amount of effort into making the relationship work, and six months ago I finally decided that the time and effort I was putting in was not worth what I was getting out of it. Since we split up I have missed him a lot, but I've realised that I would rather be single and happy than in a relationship and unhappy. The stupid thing it that it's so obvious, I can't believe it took me so long to figure it out!

That I am strong enough to not hurt myself - learnt that the hard way.

That history will always repeat itself, but that I don't have to be a part of something I don't want to happen again - by stepping back and thinking of myself for once.

That luck never gives, but only lends, so don't take it for granted, and always have a backup.

That when I think everything's under control, I'm just not going fast enough.

I've discovered that I'm good with computers, and I've just turned my hand to making a website with weebly free. It was a malfunctioning vista fighting with nortan that led me to look under the hood of windows.

    Haven't looked back since.

I have discovered that i am somebody other than the person i have been...i have just been conforming to societies perception of normality instead of allowing myself to evolve..

I discovered it through age and time and by listening to myself and hearing.

I realized that everything in this world is disposable. Including people. I don't necessarily have to have a certain individual in my life in order to be happy.

I also realized that I make this world into what I want it to be.

And that there is nothing that is absolute, everything that you think is true is only true because you want to believe it's true. And wasn't it always the best thing ever to believe that dreams could come true.

I really can step back and NOT be the boss.

After years of being stressed out and depressed I finally found out how not to be. It is still a struggle sometimes at work when I see something being ignored & not dealt with - but I now point it out to my boss (ONCE) and then walk away.

I lost my dear mother several years ago. Then a guy that I was crazy about, left to go on with his medical profession. I felt so lonely, but now I know that I must be tough and on my own in things I do. You make your own happiness, and don't think that anyone will make it for you. You must find what interests you in life and pursue it.

    I'm a procrastinator.

A day or 2 before a test, I notice that I have SO much to study.

I've discovered that I like apples. I saw one lying around and I was "Hey! Sure- why not?" and then I ate it and then I enjoyed it and then I had another one and here I am telling you about it :D
