Is Obama going to visit Kansas City?
I was just told that Obama was going to come through KC this weekend. I can not find any info anywhere about a visit. Does anyone know about this?
OK, I just caught the news and Obama is going to be at the World War I Museum at 4:00 pm this Saturday, Oct 18th. It is rsvp and you can do this at KMBC.com.

Oct 16 11:00 am Sagamihara, Japan
Oct 25 12:00 pm Carbon Cliff, IL
Nov 1 12:00 pm Lake Havasu City, AZ
Jan 20, 2009 All Day Washington, DC

At this point it's in everyone's best interests to see Obama as an individual and make race as much of a non-issue as possible. As a symbol he once represented a big step forward for civil rights as the historic first black President. Policy wise he just isn't that great. Both his foreign and domestic policies are no better than Bush's were. He should be judged only by his performance as President. But if anyone is still lame enough to play the race card, they should know that if you trace Obama's ancestry on his mother's side it turns out he is a descendant of a Maryland plantation owner named Maureen Duvall who owned 18 slaves. That also makes Obama a distant cousin of Dick Cheney. Your average Irish-American is more likely to be a descendant of a plantation slave in early America than Obama. Edit; @AutumnWynd777. Very impressive. You obviously believe in speaking from an informed position. Tip of the hat to you!

He's probably not going to spend a whole lot of time there, that's McCain territory. Plus he really has no need for the state he already is winning every single battleground.

I looked on the obama.com website & there is a place where you can look for events but they wanted the zip code & I had no idea so try that & if you can't get it e-mail me with your zip code & remind me you want me to find an event & I will find it for you.

He might be passing through, but he'll only make an appearance and stop if it is beneficial to his polling numbers.
