Powell endorses Obama, Al Qaeda endorses McCain, Opinions?

Meet the Press gave us Powell's endorsement of Obama and now TIME reports that the current election chatter on the A.Q. sites is in support of McCain. Offer an opinion.

http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1...

Update:

To all those that say A.Q. would use reverse psychology would be absolutely correct, in fact they did to get GWB elected in 2004.

Take note that it was web chatter between themselves not a message directed at us like Kerry's endorsement in 2004.

To those that say McCain wasn't endorsed, call literacy voluteers.

    Republican Answer:

Powell is racist and is now showing his true colors

Al Qaeda is playing mind games or reverse psychology and really want Obama to win.

    Logical and Informed Answer:

Powell and Obama have come to a mutual understanding of how to go beyond partisanship in a time in which the country so desparetly needs to and Powell believes, like many other knowledgable people that Obama is the most capable of handling the current domestic and international state of America.

Al Qaeda wants to continue the war because it is exhausting the US's resources while they get to hang out and reap the financial and global benefits of the war that McCain endorses while at the same time being able to maintain their argument within themselves and the rest of the world that the US is racist and against all those of color and different faiths and names.

Powell is a very intelligent man. He saw the flaws and hatred spewing from his own party. How can Republicans criticize him after he was under Bush's term? They just do not like him because he gained some sense. A.Q. only wants McCain because he will continue Bush's policies and continue to diminish America's image and power.

I guess A.Q realized that they don't help the candidate they sponsor.

It's kinda like that episode of South Park, where Chef goes all African because the town flag shows a whole bunch of white people hanging 1 black guy, so Jimbo goes to the KKK to get the Klan to endorse the opposition of the flag, because people hate the KKK, so they'll vote the opposite of them

    So...

    yeah

al qaeda has never endorsed McCain if anything they don't want him to win they would much rather see Obama get elected.

Powell is just pissed about Bush he doesn't want Obama to win he's just upset about what happened when he was secertury of state.

They explained that it was he would be easy to bait, like Bush. Bin Laden said he would bait Bush until the U.S. was in financial ruin. Guess where we are at now? I want a leader with an IQ.

Al Qaeda endorses McCain because he'll continue the war and they'll get to kill more of our troops, I reckon.

confident, it quite is in AlQaida's terrific pastime that McCain wins because of the fact they wanna proceed stretching our militia until eventually it breaks. it quite is their plan. they wanna bankrupt the united statesjust like they did with the Soviet Union.

Bin Laden himself, and Fidel Castro, have both endorsed Obama.

Even though Obama would probably go easier on them overall, AQ probably sees McCain as a better short-term recruiting tool, and right now they are desperately short on volunteers.

  • al Qaeda endorsed John Kerry in 04. They flip-flopped.
