The bottom of my ceramic mugs seem to be absorbing water?
I have a set of Pfaltzgraff dishes and the bottom of a couple of the mugs(the ring part that actually touches a surface such as the counter or table) have taken on a disgusting grey color,kind of like they absorbed water or something.Is this because they didn't have enough sealer on them?Is there a way to get rid of this (it's really disgusting looking) and is there a product that I can seal the rest with so it doesn't happen to the rest of them?Thanks in advance!

Not just water but everything you set them in. The glaze that seals the clay when they are fired is not applied to the "ring" that is the bottom, the center usually is glazed, the part left open is the contact with the Klein
