Isn't it time to admit the great experiment is a failure?
Hasn't America finally proven over the past 16 years that we have finally come to the end of usefulness of this form of government that we currently have? Both parties have had 8 years each to do something for America, and I think you must be blind to not see how they have brought us to the brink of bankruptcy and economic depression, special interest shadow governing, law by Supreme court decree, and WW 3.
Some of you responded with some interesting responses. I will answer a few. Yes, I am suggesting an end to Federal Democracy, although it would be important to allow local communities to govern themselves democratically.
Next as far as the argument that there isnt a better place to live. Not having a better place to go is no excuse to continue to allow this government to take advantage of that fact by running amok all over its people. And lastly, to the person who thinks Clinton did a great job. I am glad to hear that you find a womanizer and philanderer and a liar such a great example of who should be in charge of the most powerful country on Earth. His ONLY claim to fame is the fact that he balanced the books. He screwed up everything else, lost 2 wars, allowed the ATF/FBI to launch TWO armed assaults on Americans on American soil, and put thousands of people out of work with NAFTA. Not to mention doing nothing to stem the tide of illegal aliens into this country.

Clinton did a great job as President including balancing the books for 3 years in a row. The Republicans on the other hand.

So you are suggesting we put an end to democracy? Name a country with a different form of government that has done better. Also the things you speak of are not localized to the last 16 years. For most of this country's existence we have been on the brink of bankruptcy and economic depression, special interest governing, law by Supreme court, and a world war.

The answer is in your question. The government was not set up for parties to do for America. It's idea was limited but necessary government.
The intervention by government is what got us into these problems. Not the way the US was established.

This form of government that we live and vote for has lasted for 233 years.A lot longer than it did for the Greeks or the Romans.I would say that is a pretty good recorded.At least we are not killing our neighbors just be cos we don't angry with there religion.We just kill them for there oil.

Our system may have flaws, but please give me the name of a better country. We have the greatest country on earth. That's why everyone wants to come here.
