Christmas gift for 10 year old boy?

I love that you are thinking of giving them a gift that could develop into a hobby. It depends though if they will like it. How dedicated are they?

Do they already have hobbies? maybe the parents can get him lesson to play.

When I was 11, one of the best gifts I received as a kid was an Electric gutiar, with an amp and OF COURSE, plug in headphones so I it would not be so loud.

My brother is obsessed with military things to in fact he wont wear anything that isn't camouflaged and knows everything about every single battle ever fought,As fo a youth guitar they are good but only if the kid wants to learn if not its a waste of money,How about some of the following,

If your willing to break the rules,

War history books (in your defense they are educational)

Model Airplanes (they encourage motor skills)

etc.( This obsession can be directed in a way that is beneficial for them)

the good thing about buying for boys is they aren't too picky and so long as they are doing something they really don't care what as long as its fun!

I think that would be great even if he doesn't have previous experience it would give him a better understanding of music and who knows it might become a hobby for him later in life. i think it will be a great inspiration for him to have, play , and learn

Get him the new magic wheel. Google it, it's going to be awesome and probably be the #1 best seller this season. You'll be the best aunt for sure if you can get him one before they are sold out.

yeah but that will last ummm a week try something more to there use like a game they can play together which also is a learning game

what about lego or sports equipment or something. if i were you i'd buy them each something similar so it doesn't create competition or something.
