Where have the republicans been the last 8 years?

They keep putting in remarks about how you are going to 'lose your job' or how the economy is going to 'go into a recession/depression' under Obama..

Have they had the news turned off for the last 8 years?

Update:

Lyle G "We also predicted 5 years ago that would happen right around then if the expiration wasn't removed from the "Bush tax cuts.""

But the Bush tax cuts have not been removed so your explaination is rediculous.

They've been very busy feathering their own nests with other people's feathers ... They haven't been too concerned about the economy at all!

The economy was great until the Democrat created Financial crisis caused everything to tank. Unemployment was at an all time low before as well. Despite the rhetoric on the Left the economy was very robust for the first eight years of the Bush administration. Then, the Democrats took over Congress. You know what happened then.

We've been pointing out the growing economy and falling unemployment that only turned around this Summer.

We also predicted 5 years ago that would happen right around then if the expiration wasn't removed from the "Bush tax cuts."

Since we've been proved RIGHT (again,) why do Democrats still refuse our data?

They have been trying to convince us that the application of their ridiculous economic theories and refusal to exercise oversight were resulting in a booming Bush economy, despite the clear evidence otherwise. When the middle class is losing ground and wages are stagnant, the economy is in trouble but they refused to acknowledge that. Even now they persist in unrealistic explanations.

I just said earlier how republicans fear Obama will do things that already happened under Bush. I also mentioned the erosion of our constitutional rights, and socialism. You can add them to your question if you like. As for where the republicans were, Maybe under a rock, maybe at a Klan meeting. The only place I know where they weren't, school.

Under Bush, every single month the unemployment numbers where higher then the hiring numbers. We lost 18 million jobs under Bush.

Most prices for food, gas, housing etc doubled or even like gas increased by 500% in th last 8 years.

The rich quadrupled their wealth, during that time, the rest lost 35% of its wealth.

Obama was voted in, because even hard nosed neocons can't take it anymore.

Well, about 3 years ago they were trying to tell us that the banking industry, most specifically the mortgage part, was in trouble, but the Dems managed to obfuscate and obstruct passage of any legislation to ameliorate the problem, choosing instead to pander to the industry for campaign contributions and PAC funding.

The first 6 were fine. The last 2 have been disgusting.

Oh, we were watching the "news" trying its hardest to undermine our president, the war in Iraq and our booming economy at every turn.

Enjoy your newfound prosperity and enjoy your "news."

  • They turned they news off and started soliciting little boys, cheating on their wives you get my point? or should I continue!!

The Republicans were riding an anti-Clinton bandwagon. They thought they were the supreme beings. And, forgot why they were elected. To bring fiscal conservatism and morals to America. They failed on both parts. Hopefully, a new batch of true conservatives will arise soon. Cause we really need them.
