Does this sentence make sense?
The sentence is: Thomas Hardy uses allegory to show Tess as the sacrifice of the novel in the Fulfilment Phase.
(Hardy spells Fulfilment like that). I just wanted to know if the use of allegory works here.

you use allegory correctly, though the sentence gets wordy at the end. It is hard to follow "Tess as the sacrifice of the novel in the Fulfilment Phase" There are too many nouns right after each other. I don't understand what you are saying about HOW Thomas uses allegory.

Maybe move "in the Fulfilment Phase" to the beginning of the sentence or directly after "allegory."
