What's better for Thanksgiving ham or turkey?
I rather have ham. Turkey always ends up to dry.

I sure would be disappointed if I went somewhere for Thanksgiving and there was no turkey. Why don't you try both?
If you cover the bird and just let it brown for the last 30-45 minutes, it shouldn't get dry. I think many people cook it for too long. A turkey only needs 3hrs or so in the oven. Smaller guys need even less.

I do turkey for Thanksgiving, either ham or roast beef for X-mas, and lamb or pork roast for easter.
Turkey is only dry if it's not roasted properly...I recently replaced my old oven with one that converts to convection cooking-the bird last year was sooo juicy the juices ran while slicing into it.....I reccomend to all people shopping for a new range/stove/oven to look into convection...you will never have a dry roast. good luck.

Turkey, because I don't think you can make gravy with ham.
I actually don't like turkey that much either, but I just don't eat it. However, I loooove stuffing and I don't think stuffing is possible with ham. It just doesn't go together.

Try both, ham and turkey add some grave to it.
